Summerset Apartments was the site of two robberies last week, and both victims were teens.
Deputies were called to the complex early Friday by a person who had been told of the robberies by a friend. When they arrived, they had to speak to several people in order to locate the victims.
The first victim, a 19-year-old male, said that he was leaving a party with some friends around 3 a.m. when he was attacked from behind and struck with a pistol. The teen told deputies that there were four young black males and one pointed a gun at him and demanded that he empty his pockets.
He did and gave the men an undisclosed amount of money and his cell phone. He told officers that the four robbers threatened to come back to the apartment complex and shoot it up if he told anyone about the incident.
The victim does not live in the area and did not know any of the four men and wasn't able to give a detailed description.
Shortly after the first victim was robbed, a second teen was approached while he sat on the playground of the complex.
The teen, also 19, told deputies that one young black male approached him and asked for change. When he pulled out his wallet the man reportedly said "never mind, give me all of it," and pointed a gun at him.
The teen gave the robber his money and the thief ran from the area.
This victim didn't recognize the gunman either.
Police believe that this person was involved in both robberies that evening.
