MONROE, Ga. — Police are looking for a man wanted for murder in connection with the death of a 68-year-old woman in her Monroe apartment.

Investigators obtained a warrant late Wednesday night against 30-year-old Sergio R. Moon. He’s accused of murder in the death of Linda O. Flint on Wednesday afternoon.

Monroe police said officers responded at 2:42 p.m. Wednesday to a call of an armed robbery and shooting at an apartment at 134 W. Marable St. Once there, officers discovered Flint lying on the floor and bleeding.

Flint was transported to Piedmont Walton Hospital, where she died.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation crime scene investigators processed the scene, and the Walton County district attorney’s office is working with Monroe police detectives on the case.

Moon is described as black and 5 feet 11 inches tall. He weighs 150 pounds and has black hair with hazel eyes.

Police said Moon should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, call 911 and report his location to law enforcement.
