SOCIAL CIRCLE, Ga. — Two people broke into a gas station and stole lottery tickets last week, deputies said.

The Newton County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find the two people responsible for the break-in at the Pure Mart, 1313 Highway 11 N., in unincorporated Social Circle.

It’s considered a case of second-degree burglary.

Investigators said it happened at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. The two suspects drove a white U-Haul box truck and used a yellow battery-operated sawing device and pry bar to make entry through the front door.

Suspect 1, who was driving the truck, was described as a heavyset black woman wearing a gray-and-white do-rag. She first wore a loose red tank top but changed into a bright red T-shirt for the burglary. She also had gray sweatpants with “Love” written in white lettering on the side of the left leg, and wore black boots.

Suspect 2 was described as a black man who smokes. He was wearing a dark cap and a white tank top, and he added a gray jacket for the burglary. He also wore camouflage pants and black boots.
