Chainsaws stolen during early morning break-in
Tractor Supply

COVINGTON, Ga. – Police are looking for whoever threw a cinder block through the entry doors at Tractor Supply early Saturday and made off with two chainsaws.

According to a Covington Police Department incident report, police were dispatched to the store on Lochridge Boulevard just before 2 a.m. Feb. 16 on a report of a burglar alarm.

The first officer arrived and observed that the cinder block had been used to break out the first and second entry doors to the business. Other officers arrived and police searched and cleared the building and notified a key holder.

When the key holder arrived, officers reviewed surveillance video that showed what is believed to be a male wearing camouflage coveralls and a black hat enter the store after shattering the doors.

According to the report, the male walked quickly to the left side of the store, grabbed two orange chainsaws that were on display and left the store the way he came in.

The subject is described as being approximately 6 feet tall with a medium build. The total value of the chainsaws is $1,000.
