Covington man wins free ribs for a year

Chip Moore of Covington won free Shane’s Rib Shack for a year after entering the company’s Holiday Wait and Win promotion.

The customer loyalty promotion rewards diners by giving them a sealed envelope. Inside, a prize is listed. Diners can redeem their unopened envelopes in January or February and enter to win the grand prize, a 2016 Ford F-150, 4x4 King Ranch Edition Truck and free Shane’s Rib Shack for a year.

This year’s grand prize winner was Michelle Potts of Newnan.

“In the true spirit of the holidays, our annual Wait & Win promotion engages our loyal customers and provides them with a chance to win fantastic prizes,” says Shane Thompson, president and founder of Shane’s Rib Shack. “The look on Michelle’s face when we showed up at Evans Middle School, where she works, and announced she had won the grand prize truck was exactly why we give back to our fans. We look forward to providing benefits to our loyal fan base for years to come that could change their day or their year.”

In addition to Moore and Potts, four other people won free Shane’s for a year.

“Our giveaways are an opportunity for us to give back to our loyal customers that support us all year long,” said Rachel Turk-Settle, Vice President of Marketing “We believe once we bring families into our restaurants, they too will become a part of our strong and faithful customer base.”
