A local man who believed he was meeting a 14-year-old female at a local gas station for a sexual encounter was instead met and arrested by RCSO investigators last week.
Raymond Orlando Constant, 35, of Covington was arrested Friday, March 6, by Rockdale County Sheriff's Office investigators arrested after he drove to a local Conyers gas station for the purpose of meeting who he believed to be a 14 year old female he met online.
Once Constant arrived at the gas station he was subsequently arrested.
He now faces charges of Criminal Attempt to Commit Aggravated Child Molestation and Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes.
Criminal Investigations Bureau Cpl. Michael Cobb has been designated to handle these types of investigations for the RCSO. Cpl. Cobb recently joined the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. The GBI has provided Corporal Cobb with the equipment and training needed for investigations of this nature.
