Newton County reports hang tag sales

COVINGTON, Ga. – Newton County Public information Officer Bryan Fazio released the number of convenience center and recycling center hang tags sold during the first six months of 2017 Friday.

According to Fazio, as of June 30, there had been 1,459 hang tags sold for use at the full-service centers and the recycling center.  There have been 100 recycling center only tags sold.

All hang tags are currently on sale at the Newton County Historic Courthouse from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Monday - Friday. Tags can also be purchased online at ncboc.com/online-services/residential-user-access-program or through the mail by printing out an application form from ncboc.com and mailing it to 1113 Usher St., Covington, Ga. 30014.

A hang tag to use all five full-service centers and the recycling center costs $145. The hang tag to use the recycling center only costs $24. All hang tags purchased can be used until June 30, 2018.
