After being closed for more then two months, Jimbo’s Grill at the Mill has been reopened.

According to a statement released by Michael Geoffroy, attorney for the popular Porterdale restaurant owner James Stalvey Jr.: "We are now open and ready to feed the whole town."

Jimbo’s was originally closed following a brief jail stay for Stalvey for civil contempt of court in late-December and following allegations from a former employee that he failed to pay him due wages. Documents showed that Stalvey had financial hardships at the time as well.

"Like a bunch of folks these days, we got squeezed by the economy and some other problems," according to the statement from Stalvey. "It was never an issue with food quality or safety. There were times I felt like giving up and closing the doors for good, but my family has two constants, we love to feed folks and we don't give up. Jimbo's is back and here to stay."
