Memories that last a lifetime: Anicee Bolton, a resident of Covington, spent a week at Camp Braveheart — a camp for children with congenital or acquired heart defects organized by Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta — this summer. At Camp Braveheart, every child’s possibilities are endless. From team-building activities to individual support, this special week gives every child the chance to experience camp, build friendships and make memories to last a lifetime. Doctors and nurses from Children’s, as well as volunteers, work to promote positive self-esteem through fun and learning.
