Two churches host concerts

At First Presbyterian Church of Covington, a pipe organ concert at 3 p.m. will feature Tom Alderman, organist for Roswell United Methodist Church and principal accompanist for the Michael O'Neal Singers; Jim Ingram, president and CEO of Allen Organ Studios in Augusta; Becky Ramsey, organist for First United Methodist Church of Covington; and Alice Walker, organist for First Presbyterian.

The church is at 1169 Clark St. S.W.

At First United Methodist Church, Jessa and Jordan Anderson will perform at 7 p.m.

The Andersons are husband-and-wife singer/songwriters from Nashville, Tenn. Jessa, 23, has signed with BEC Recordings, and her label debut CD, "Not Myself Anmore," is set for release on May 17. The single "Not What I Thought" is receiving national radio play.

The style of Jordan Anderson, who has been writing songs since he was 14, is "jazz-infused music," according to the release. His debut EP is titled "The Popular Tree."
