The 75-voice Covington-Conyers Choral Guild will present its 28th Spring Concert in two performances this week.

The program will include selections from Broadway’s acclaimed "Les Miserables,’’ New York "Today Show" composer David Friedman’s "We Can Be Kind’’ and the "Shut De Do,’’ with a Caribbean island feel.

In addition, there will be added attractions of instrumental ensembles plus several guest soloists.

Performances will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church of Covington, 1175 Elm St. NE; and at 8 p.m. Friday at Rockdale Auditorium, 903 Main St., Conyers.

Admission will be $10 at the door, and doors will open at 7:30 p.m. for both performances.

Roger Waters has been director of the Choral Guild for 28 years.

He is assisted by Joni Jones.
