Celebrating 20 as the voice of the housing industry in Newton County, on Oct. 11, the Newton County Home Builders Association held its annual Installation and Awards Banquet.

The outgoing board of directors was recognized for their service and the 2011-2012 slate of officers were sworn in by Jim DuBois, a past president with the Newton County Home Builders Association. Bob Goucher was sworn in as president for the upcoming 2011-2012 year.

Several awards were presented at the Installation / Awards Banquet: Steve DuBois of DuBois Construction received The Presidents Award from President Lewis Stephenson.
