Southern Heartland Arts Inc.'s annual "Artful Harvest" gallery event is running now through Sept. 29 at the Covington branch of the Newton County Library.

The invitational show is sponsored by United Bank and includes artists from neighboring counties. This year's show is judged by artist Marc Chatov, of Marc Chatov Studio, in Rutledge. Artists will compete in 2D and 3D, and there is also a category for junior artists.

The awards presentation and reception will be hosted by The Heartland Woman's Club tomorrow from 5-7 p.m.
