For years the Covington News Company has published an alternate advertising product called the News and Advertiser that has been delivered on Tuesday’s and is carried to 15,000 homes.
This paper has contained ads from local grocery markets Food Depot and Freshway, and it has carried preprints and other advertising material.
The news content has been, basically, filler in nature.
Effective with our new Sunday-only package that will debut in October, the News and Advertiser will not only be delivered on Tuesday as it has been for years, but will be delivered to our paid subscribers on Wednesday morning. It will be delivered the same time as the Wednesday paper was delivered and in the same manner.
The News and Advertiser will be revamped and will contain more local pictures and news items that will not be seen in the Sunday package.
The News and Advertiser delivered to subscribers, in addition to the R.O.P. ads that already run in it, will contain our Wednesday preprint package; this will insure that our subscribers can keep with all of the sales and special offerings being made by retailers in the area.
These changes will allow us to ensure for our advertisers and readers that they will continue to receive information twice a week on all local sales and happenings.
Please feel free to contact our team if you have any questions in regards to our new delivery package.
