A 16-year-old female Alcovy High School student lost control of her car as she was leaving school Monday afternoon and her car flipped over, trapping her inside.
She was turning left onto Ga. Highway 36 and lost control on the wet pavement causing her car to leave the roadway and overturn, said Georgia State Patrol spokesman Gordy Wright. Officials could not life flight her out of the scene because of weather and she was transported by ground to Walton Medical Center.
She was OK as of late Monday evening according to a friend of the family.
