The Newton County Sheriff's Office sponsored Toy Ride took to the streets of Covington and Newton County Saturday for a good cause.

Hundreds of motorcycles participated in the ride, which departed from Kmart on 278 and Turner Lake Road and finished up at the church of Covington on Hwy. 142, in order to help local children at Christmas.

Each rider donated $20 or an unwraped toy to participate.
