The Red Cross is continuing to ask for blood, with three more blood drives in Newton County through the end of August.

• Troy University- Friday, August 22nd from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. 1160 Monticello Street, just off the square

• Oxford City Hall- Tuesday, August 26th from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. 110 West Clark Street.

• The First Baptist Church of Covington- Thursday, August 28th from 12:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. 1139 Usher Street.

To make an appointment for any of these drives, donors may visit redcrossblood.org. Walk-ins are also welcome. All donors should eat well and drink plenty of caffeine-free liquids before and after giving blood.
