MONROE, Ga. (AP) — Authorities say a high school student was killed after being struck by three vehicles in front of his school in Walton County.

Georgia State Patrol officials say only one of the three drivers who struck the 15-year-old boy stopped.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports (http://bit.ly/15fJKKu) that the accident happened around 6:40 a.m. Tuesday outside Monroe Area High School in Walton County.

Troopers believe the teen was hit first by a silver Honda, then a Ford Ranger pickup truck and then by a tan Chevrolet Tahoe. Authorities say the Honda, which possibly has front-end damage, and Tahoe left the scene.

The student's name was being withheld until relatives could be notified.
