ATLANTA (AP) — Forecasters say strong to severe thunderstorms are expected in Georgia as a cold front approaches the state.
The National Weather Service says the chance for thunderstorms will increase Friday ahead of the front.
Forecasters say the main threats will be high winds and hail.
The weather service is also projecting very warm temperatures ahead of the front, with highs in the mid-80s in the metro Atlanta area on Wednesday and Thursday.
