ALPHARETTA, Ga. (AP) — Police have arrested a man accused of calling in a bomb threat at a mall in suburban Atlanta.
Authorities say 28-year-old Omari Riden told investigators he called in a bomb threat to the North Point Mall in Alpharetta Friday.
The threat prompted an evacuation and a search of the building about 25 miles north of downtown Atlanta. Authorities said no explosive devices were found inside the building.
The mall reopened Friday afternoon and the man is expected to be formally charged and booked into the Fulton County jail.
