FORSYTH, Ga. (AP) — Authorities have identified a man who was killed in a Monroe County traffic accident as a 42-year-old Conyers man.

Monroe County Sheriff's spokeswoman Allison Selman-Willis says Christopher Vesely lost control of the Lincoln Towncar he was driving on I-75 and was struck by a tractor trailer Tuesday night. Willis says Vesely's car then hit the median and was struck by a second tractor trailer.

Officials say the man was pronounced dead on the scene, and it's unclear what led to the crash.

The accident is under investigation.
