What are you doing for the Lord?

Just a Thought: What are you doing for the Lord?

Before you answer that with a list of activities, let me remind you Jesus is not looking for busy, He is looking for investors.
Yes, that is the point of the parable in of the stewards in Luke 19. “So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas. “Put this money to work,' he said, 'until I come back.” (Luke 19:13)

What has God given you (time, talent , treasures, your testimony) and how are you using it to serve His interests? Using the things God has given us is supposed to be done in a manner that they are investments in His kingdom work not ours. He is the owner and master, we are simply stewards. He has left us all we need to advance the cause of His kingdom, expand His kingdom, and be profitable to His kingdom, but we must use what He has given us for His purposes or they will be losses instead of gains.

Some have the right heart and mindset and they view all they have as a gift from God to be used for God and they are investing all they have every day. Others are like the steward who hid what he had and never used it for what it was intended for. Let me remind us friend this parable was taught to inform us Jesus (the master) is going to return and we are going to give an account for what we have been doing for the Lord.

Let me encourage you today; don’t sit on what God gave you, use it to serve Him! Start being an investor in the Master’s kingdom starting today!
