Just a thought: All you do

What difference do you make to the Kingdom work God is doing around you? Some may feel they don’t contribute much, but let’s remember all the members of the body are essential for the body to function properly. Just because you don’t preach or teach doesn’t mean you’re unimportant. If you are serving God, using your spirit given gifts and serving for the honor and glory of God, you are essential! When you consider the ministry of Jesus, it is easy to focus on those out in front such as Jesus and the disciples. But His ministry would not have been successful without everyone who was a part of it. What about those all important, necessary, valuable people who served in the background but get little mention but who were so seriously responsible for contributing to the success? Who? “And also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary (called Magdalene) from whom seven demons had come out; Joanna the wife of Cuza, the manager of Herod’s household; Susanna; and many others. These women were helping to support them out of their own means.” (Luke 8:2-3) I bet these women never thought they would be recorded in the Word of God, I bet they were not serving for that purpose either – but like them, don’t you worry; if you are not acknowledged for your part in the kingdom by men, you are not going unnoticed by God. Stay faithful to the Lord my friend, He appreciates all you do and so do all those whose lives will be changed because of the kingdom work you help make successful.
