CONYERS, Ga. – Piedmont Physicians Group is pleased to announce that endocrinology physician Wedad Rahman, M.D. has joined Piedmont Physicians Endocrinology of Rockdale, a new practice located at 1301 Sigman Road, Suite 280 in Conyers. 

Rahman will begin seeing patients on Monday, Sept. 30. 

Rahman specializes in treating patients with type 1 and 2 diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), as well as adrenal and pituitary disorders. 

Rahman recently completed her endocrinology fellowship at the university of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree in 2014 from Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans and complete her residency in internal medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.  

Rahman is board-certified in internal medicine and is a member of American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. She performs procedures such as bone densitometry interpretation, insulin pump initiation and management, continuous glucose monitoring interpretation and pituitary MRI interpretation. 

Piedmont Physicians Endocrinology of Rockdale is accepting new patients.
