COVINGTON, Ga. – The fifteenth annual gala hosted by the Piedmont Newton Hospital Auxiliary will be held on Saturday, April 28 at the home of Jim and Karen Gayler. Tickets and sponsorships are currently available to community members who wish to attend.

The theme for this year’s gala is Great Gatsby. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in glamourous 1920’s attire.

“We look forward to hosting this event each year and invite everyone to attend,” Andrea Lane, director of community relations for Piedmont Newton, said. “The gala is a special night that brings the community together to support Piedmont Newton Hospital and the volunteer auxiliary.”

The auxiliary uses proceeds from the gala and other fundraising events held during the year to improve areas of the hospital.

“The auxiliary works with hospital leadership to identify areas of the facility that they can enhance which, in turn, improves the patient experience,” Lane said. “Our most recent project has been updating the furniture in waiting areas throughout the hospital.”
