COVINGTON, Ga. - Residents from Merryvale Assisted Living in Oxford recently visited the Piedmont Newton Hospital Cinderella Shop, an upscale resale boutique specializing in women’s fashions. The women enjoyed refreshments, browsed for the newest items and received personal shopping assistance from the staff.

The Cinderella Shop opened its doors in 1992. The shop was originally located on the Covington Square, but moved to its current location on Pace Street 20 years ago. Volunteers who donate their time and energy to support the Piedmont Newton Hospital Auxiliary and the community operate the shop. All proceeds from the shop benefit the Piedmont Newton Hospital Auxiliary, which supports the needs of the hospital’s patients and visitors.

The Cinderella Shop is located at 2145 #B Pace St., Covington, Ga. 30014. The store is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
