COVINGTON

Cricket Frog Trail

- 15-mile trail through the center of Newton County along the former Central of Georgia Railroad

- 6.5 miles of the trail is primitive

- .65 miles have been paved from Elm to Conyers Street

- Another paved section from Elm to Pace Street

- A quarter-mile paved section in Mansfield


Eastside Trail

- 2.5 mile trail from Chimney Park/Newton County Public Library to Eastside High School

- Multi-use and greenway


Lake Varner Trail

- A short, paved trail alongside Lake Varner located off of Alcovy Road

Turner Lake Park Trail 

- 3-mile paved and unpaved trail around Turner Lake and behind the Turner Lake Complex 


PORTERDALE

Yellow River Trail

- 1,480-foot concrete loop trail along the Yellow River in Porterdale that travels through the Yellow River Park 

- An additional quarter-mile begins at the old historic train depot on Broad Street


MANSFIELD

Charlie Elliott Trail

- 4.7-mile trail that straddles Newton and Jasper Counties

- Multi-use


OXFORD

Oxford Trail 

- 1.2-mile, concrete trail alongside Turkey Creek
