Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Uhl of Powder Springs announce the engagement of their daughter Jessica Uhl to Aaron Standard, son of Rick and Kriste Standard of Powder Springs.

The bride-elect received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Georgia. She is a speech-language pathologist for Cobb County Schools.

The future groom is a graduate of Reinhardt University with a degree in business and currently serves on the Board of Governors there. He is employed with Matador Distributing. He is the grandson of Margene and E.H. Snow and the late Edward Green of Cedartown and Betty and Artis Standard of Covington.

A May wedding is planned in Norcross at Flint Hill.
