Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Thomas Saunders of Richmond, Va., announce the engagement of their daughter Samantha Taylor Saunders to Tucker Arthur Watson of Winston-Salem, N.C., son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Todd Watson of Oxford.  

The bride-elect is a graduate of Mills E. Godwin High School and Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science. She is a medical student at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.  

The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Eugene Gadilhe of Oxford and Mr. And Mrs. Truman Arthur Watson of Anderson, S.C. He is a resident of Winston-Salem, N.C., and a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in computer science. He is employed as a software engineer with Activelogix in Charlotte, N.C.

The wedding will be June 6 in Richmond, Va.
