Darlene and Carlos Rodriguez of Covington announce the engagement of their daughter Falesia Rodriguez to Michael Jenkins of Locust Groove, son of Carla and David Jenkins of Covington.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jacinta Beas of Tequila, Mexico. She is a graduate of Newton High School and is attending Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. She will continue her education at Gordon College to earn a Bachelor of Science in education. She works as secretary for Rodriguez Stone Mason.

The future groom is the grandson of Odell and Leah Caldwell and Ed and Betty Jenkins of Covington and Carlos and Brenda Terrell of Florida. He is a graduate of Newton High School and Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. He is employed by Henry County Animal Control as a large animal specialist.

The couple will marry Dec. 19 at the Carl House, Auburn.
