Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hays Morgan Jr. of Starrsville announce the engagement of their daughter April Lauren Morgan to Jason Harold Ruark of Fairplay, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Neil Ruark of Bostwick.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Barbara Morgan and the late Mr. Jack H. Morgan Sr. of Covington and the late Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Barker of Porterdale. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in political science and is employed by J.P. Cargill and Associates as a legislative analyst.

The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Wynelle Ruark and the late Mr. Charles Thomas Ruark of Boswick and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Vickery of Madison. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering technology and is employed by Pike Energy Solution.

The wedding will be May 14 at the home of the bride’s parents in Starrsville.
