Mark and Laurie Kersey of Calhoun announce the engagement of their daughter, Claire Kersey, to Lee Sandow, son of Ronald and Alexia Sandow of Snellville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Claude and Billye Vernam, Katie Kersey and the late Frank Kersey Sr. She graduated from Georgia College & State University with a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication. She works as a freelance graphic designer.

The future groom is the grandson of Carole Sibley, Ed and Sharon Ruby, the late Ola Hoogerhyde and the late Bobby Sandow. He is a graduate of Georgia College & State University with a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication. He is employed by The Covington News.

The wedding will be July 23 at the First Presbyterian Church in Calhoun.
