James and Tina Jordan of Oxford announce the engagement of their daughter Jessica Elizabeth Jordan to Luke Austin Fincher of Covington, son of Dennis and Brenda Fincher of Newborn.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jack and Marlene Jordan of Covington and Doris Jacobs of Monteagle, Tenn. She graduated from North Georgia College and State University and works for the Newton County School System.

The future groom is the grandson of Myrtle Fincher Banks of Covington. He is a graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and works for Lakeview Landscaping.

The couple will wed Oct. 10 at Indian Creek Nursery in Mansfield. Friends and family are invited to attend.
