Ralph and Annette Willies and Curlie and Louise Usher, all of Covington, announce the engagement of their daughter Sharon D. Hardeman to Charles L. Williams of Covington, son of Mr. Madie Wallace of Covington and Mr. Author Williams of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

The bridge-elect is a graduate of Newton High School and works for the United States Postal Service. The future groom attended community college, is retired from the Air Force and is also employed by the United States Postal Service.

The wedding is planned for Sept. 17.
