Mrs. Audrey Green of Social Circle announces the engagement of her daughter Carolyn Amber Green to Garett Eugene Ruby of Clovis, N.M., son of Mrs. Joanne Herman of Meriden, Kan., and Mr. Gary Ruby of Fort Scott, Kan.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Valdosta State University and is a Registered Nurse at Rockdale Medical Center. The future groom is a 2005 graduate of Kansas State University and is a captain in the United States Air Force, Cannon Air Force Base, N.M.

The wedding is planned for July.
