Mr. and Mrs. Steve Dawson of Covington announce the engagement of their daughter Carolyn Rose Dawson to David Anthony Cowan, son of Mr. Steve Cowan and Ms. Debbie Cowan of Covington.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Rosemary Logan and the Late Marion Logan of Barnesville and Mr. and Mrs. Williams of Stone Mountain. She is a 2005 Graduate of Newton High School and is employed with AT&T.

The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Renae Anglin and the late Bobby Anglin of Covington and Ms. Marie Cowan of Covington and the late Lanier Cowan of Covington. He is employed with Georgia Power Company.

The wedding will be April 9 in Conyers.
