Tyra and Robert Canady of Covington announce the engagement of their daughter Rachael Canady to Erick Rutherford, son of Tracy Rutherford and Angel Hannah of Covington.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jake and Ann McGinnis of Covington, Ricky and Shirley Hooks Covington and Bobby and Sue Canady of Twin City. The future groom is the grandson of Harry and Debbie Hogan of Hogan.

The wedding will be Aug. 20 at Honey Creek Baptist Church.
