Oxford resident Deborah Graham was a winner on Wednesday’s “The Price is Right” television program, advancing to the show’s final “Showcase Showdown.”

After getting the opportunity to “come on down,” Graham guessed the exact price of a Canon camera to get on the stage.  Once on stage with Host Drew Carey, she correctly picked the prices of a new washer and dryer and accessories from designer Marc Jacobs, winning those prizes.

Graham, a nurse, said this was her first game show experience. She attended with a friend who is a “Price is Right” veteran. She wore a blue t-shirt that said “Don’t tell my boss I’m here, I took a sick day for Drew! Cough, Cough.”

Graham said the show’s host, Drew Carey, is the “coolest, laid back, down to earth guy” who talked with the audience during commercial breaks.  She said the people in the audience with her came from all walks of life.

And even though she did not win the big prize, Graham said she is grateful for what she won. She also had the chance to give a shout out to her mother, Bobbie, back home in Oxford from the stage.

Graham said she enjoyed the experience. For her next game show adventure, she said that she would like to appear on “Let’s Make a Deal”.

Stay tuned.
