Atlanta’s favorite food trucks will roll into Parker Road Field in Conyers on March 29 for an event celebrating street cuisine.

Presented by Eblu, the Conyers Food Truck Festival will bring together more than 15 food trucks, local merchants and artisans, and live musical entertainment, from noon to 6 p.m. Featured trucks will include Yumbii, Smileys, On Tapa the World and Tex’s Tacos. Guests will also enjoy house-made margaritas from Las Flores.

With the purchase of an advanced ticket, each attendee will receive a wristband upon entry. Wristbands qualify participants to receive $1 discounts at any food truck once they spend $6. A percentage of all sales will go directly to the Colon Cancer Alliance.

"The hottest food trend in Atlanta and the surrounding areas remains the street food movement, and we wanted to celebrate the success of these entrepreneurs by showcasing their cuisine in one fun-filled day," Conyers Food Truck Festival founders Alisha Nesbitt and Cheryl Hasting said. "We would like to bring the city of Conyers together for an affordable, family-friendly event that highlights our diverse culinary offerings."

In addition to cuisine and shopping, guests can enjoy live entertainment by a variety of local bands and artists, brought to the festival by sponsor Lethal Rhythms Entertainment.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.conyersfoodtruckfestival.com. Kids 12 and under are free.

An individual adult pass is $10.50; a group of four adults can get wristbands for $25.

Guests are encouraged to bring portable chairs or picnic blankets for the event.
