COVINGTON, Ga. - Jeanette Berry was recognized in January as the 2017 Covington Division Employee of the Year at the Employee recognition reception. Thomas Kephart, United Bank’s Covington president, announced the selection.

“We can’t say enough about the contribution that Jeanette has made to the Covington team,” he said. “Jeanette was one of the first officers hired when the Covington office was established, and she was instrumental in migrating many of her former banking clients over to United Bank.”

Jeanette serves as a member of the Covington Lion’s Club, the Covington-Newton Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee, and the Board of Directors of Snapping Shoals EMC. She and her husband Charles live in Covington. She has two sons, Matt and Mark Tumlin, a daughter-in –law, Mary Tumlin, and granddaughter, Jordana Pope.  She is a member of First United Methodist Church in Covington.
