Lauren Robledo has worked in the cleaning field for many years. Cleaning for employer William Ellenberg for many years, she eventually joined him to open Immaculate Maid Services.
"I used to clean and lay tile for (Ellenberg) for years-it's how we met," said Robledo. "So we thought it would be great to go into business together."
Immaculate Maid Services, 329 Gees Mill Business Parkway in Conyers, provides commercial and residential housekeeping services, spring cleaning and regularly scheduled cleaning. They also offer free in-home estimates and deep cleaning services for various types of floors. They provide their own equipment and cleaning products.
The business is owned by Ellenberg, who also owns Metro Embalming and Crematory in Conyers. Ellenberg and Robledo decided to open the business after noticing there was not one like it in the area.
"It's a field I've worked in for years," said Robledo. "We figured it would be lucrative to open one up."
To boost customer confidence, employees are required to pass criminal background checks and regular drug screening. The business is also bonded and insured. Immaculate currently has three ‘on-call' employees.
Immaculate Maid Services is offering a special, $75 off a deep cleaning service. Deep cleaning a house could take from four to eight hours, said Robledo. A basic cleaning may take two to four hours.
"I can't say what is the toughest part of my job, I love it all," said Robledo. "But getting to know my customers is definitely the favorite part."
