Drive in, fuel up at the new 76 gas station grand opening celebration
First 100 customers to receive 76¢ gas

COVINGTON, GA – A newly designed 76 gas station at 10055 Eagle Drive in Covington has recently opened its pumps. The general public is invited to attend the grand opening celebration on Thursday, Dec. 7, from 9 a.m. to noon, with the first 100 attendees receiving regular unleaded gas at a discounted price – $0.76 per gallon. The Covington location is one of several 76 branded stations in an aggressive growth plan to open new stations in the Georgia market.

In addition to turning back time for loyal 76 customers with the discounted fuel offer for the first 100 vehicles, guests can play games for a chance to win gas cards, a 60”  TV, and many more prizes during the day’s celebration. The grand opening event coincides with the 50th anniversary of the beloved 76 antenna ball, a classic customer favorite.

“We are thrilled for the all-time classic 76 brand’s arrival to this market,” Paul Mcwhirter, 76 sales manager for Motiva Enterprises LLC, said. “With the new 76 station openings, we will be able to offer local residents another great fuel option in their neighborhoods.”

Following the Covington grand opening, 76 will also celebrate the grand opening for its Milledgeville gas station located at 155 Roberson Mill Road on Friday, Dec. 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The general public is invited again to join the fun, with the first 100 attendees receiving regular unleaded gas at a discounted price – $0.76 per gallon. The guests can also enjoy exciting games for a chance to win prizes and Willie Nelson concert tickets.
