Sheerie Lynn Owen and Kurt Joseph Owen of Social Circle announce the birth of their daughter Wendy Lynn Owen April 28 at Rockdale Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds and .09 ounces and was 18.5 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Bill and Dale Bilotta of Marietta; maternal great-grandparents are Sally Bilotta of Hendersonville, N.C., and Ruth Moorehead of High Shoals.

Paternal grandparents are Mark and Lisa Owen of Social Circle; paternal great-grandparents are Beatrice Owen of Brandenton, Fla., and Bob and Greta Hoosen of Social Circle.

Sister to the newborn is Hannah Beth Owen.
