Mr. and Mrs. Grady Thomas Hodges

Sharon Elizabeth Pope of Covington and Grady Thomas Hodges of Mansfield were united in marriage Dec. 12 at Julia A. Porter United Methodist Church, Porterdale, with the Rev. James A. Moore officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pope of Covington. The groom is the son of Mrs. Sandra Hodges and the late Mr. Eugene (Bud) Hodges of Mansfield.

The bride wore an ivory gown and was given in marriage by her father. The decorations included a Christmas tree, greenery and poinsettias.

Serving as maid of honor was Dr. Michelle Dodder of Atlanta who wore a hunter-green long strapless gown. Bridesmaids were Debbie Harper of Covington, Jennifer Holifield of Mansfield and Lynn Malcom of Covington. Their gowns matched the maid of honor's.

Serving as best man was Tim Hodges of Social Circle. Groomsmen were Tommy Ballard of Covington, Harry Galloway of Newborn and Greg Pope of Covington. Anna Beth Bailey of Social Circle and Ashley Pope of Covington served as flower girls wearing red dresses. Wyatt Joyner of Social Circle was ring bearer and wore a black tuxedo.

April Allen and Wayne Allen were soloists. The reception was held at Julia A. Porter United Methodist Church and the couple honeymooned in Lancaster County, Penn. They now reside in Mansfield.
