Heather Jo and Kevin Wayne Johnson were married June 28 in McGaheysville, Va., with Pastor Lagerveld officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Jo Ann and Charles Garrison of Port Republic, Va., and Steven Stroop of Grottoes, Va., She is the granddaughter of S.B. Stroop of Penn Laird, Va. The groom is the son of Maurice and Elizabeth Johnson of Covington.

The bride, given in marriage by Steven Stroop, wore a full-length, white, strapless, taffeta gown with beaded inset and train.

Serving as maid of honor was Christy Crawford of Grottoes who wore a tea-length navy taffeta dress with spaghetti straps. Serving as bridesmaids were Danielle Stroop of Port Republic and Janet Dressler of Covington. They wore sleeveless tea-length navy taffeta dresses.

Serving as best man was Scott Bradley of Covington. Groomsmen were David Prochaska of Grottoes and Greg Williams of Gordonsville, Va.

Serving as flowergirls were Megan and Alanna Dressler of Covington. Serving as ringbearer were Colton Stroop of Grottoes and Logan Dressler of Covington.

The reception was held at Woodmen of the World, Grottoes. The couple honeymooned at Virginia Beach, Va., and now live in Grottoes.
