Lindsay Gail Satterfield of Charlotte, N.C., and Rocky Charles Rumpel of Charlotte were married June 6 at Kingwood Golf Club and Resort in Clayton. Mike Lowe officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Fay Satterfield of Social Circle and granddaughter of Rudene and Lamar Turner and Belle Satterfield, all of Gainesville.

The groom is the son of the late Reneé Rumpel and Chad Rumpel of Castle Hayne, N.C.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Serving as matron of honor was Wendy Cleghorn of Villa Rica, the bride’s sister. Bridesmaids were Jamie Bowen, cousin of the bride, of Salt Lake City, Utah; Megan Butler of Charlotte; and Brittney Runnion of Atlanta. Other attendant was Joy Saye, the bride’s cousin, of Cumming.

Serving as best man was Ryan Rumpel, the groom’s brother of Wilmington, N.C. Groomsmen were Vinny Rumpel, groom’s brother, of Wilmington; Pope Cleghorn, bride’s brother-in-law, of Villa Rica; and Richard Lindeman of Sandy Springs. Junior groomsman was Trey Cleghorn, the bride’s nephew, of Villa Rica.

Serving as flower girl was Austyn Bowen, the bride’s cousin, of Salt Lake City. Charlotte Red and Fenway Park, the bride and groom’s Boston terriers, served as ring bearers.

Kim Clark provided the music for the ceremony, and she and her band provided the music for the reception. The bride wore her mother’s garter that her mother wore in her 1972 wedding and that her sister wore in her 1997 wedding. The couple honeymooned in Greece.
