Holly and Brian Knapp of Covington announce the birth of their son Gibson Lewis Knapp Jan. 13 at Rockdale Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds and 5 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Brad and Judy Bradford of Social Circle. Paternal grandparents are Kenneth and Ronda Knapp of Covington. Maternal great-grandparents are Annie Mae Callaway and the late Everette Callaway of Social Circle, the late Wilbert Bradford of Covington and Mary Blanco of Conyers. Paternal great-grandparents are Marcia White of Covington, the late Robert White of Miami, Fla., Tillie Knapp and the late Kenneth Knapp of Miami Springs, Fla.

Brother to the newborn is Gehrig, 2 years old.
