Brook Elrod Buckelew and Benjamin Reid Buckelew of Norcross, formerly of Covington, announce the birth of their daughter River LeAnne Buckelew at Piedmont Hospital Jan. 23.
She weighed 6 pounds and was 18.5 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Dennis and Gail Elrod of Pendergrass. Paternal grandparents are Reid and Brenda Buckelew of Covington. Sister to the newborn is Reece Buckelew.
