Hannah DeBoer and Timmy Sheffield of Oxford announce the birth of their son, Kohen Lee Sheffield, born Jan. 6 at Newton Medical Center. Kohen weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Carin DeBoer and Jeff and Sonia DeBoer of Covington. Maternal great-grandparents are Ann and Jim Brooks of Oxford and Shirley and Bob DeBoer of Brandon, Wisc. Paternal grandparents are Tracy and Tony Butler of Mobile, Ala., and Kenneth Sheffield of Covington. Paternal great-grandparents are Dorothy Sheffield and David Sheffield Sr. of Covington. Paternal great-great-grandfather is Gene Sexton of Covington. Kohen is joined at home by his big sister, McKinsley Grace Sheffield.
