Do you have a predilection for the spooky? If so, make plans to go on the McDonough Haunted History Tour this weekend. McDonough might be known as the Geranium City, but it has a darker side, and if you sign up for the tour you’ll get to hear all about the fabled hauntings, ghosts and things that go bump in the night in this charming little city. Haunted theaters, Confederate ghosts and train crash victims who’ve been around since the 1900s are just a few of the tales you’ll have spun for you by the storytellers from Dawg-Eared Books. Make sure you wear comfy shoes. It’s no New Orleans cemetery tour, but it’s a spooktacular good time nonetheless. Plus, along with the scary, you’ll hear some of the history of McDonough, so you can make yourself feel a little better by calling your haunted tour educational.

Price: $5-$10
